Bespoke Presentation design
Torchbearing offers a bespoke presentation design service that uses cognitive psychology, storytelling, visuals and structure to add power to a speaker’s key messages: ‘Making Presentations Memorable’.
Presentations can be designed for any type of event - keynotes, workshops, away days, online conferences etc.
The service is tailored to both the event and an individual speaker’s needs, and involves four main phases:
a) Planning
The planning stage involves understanding: the aims and goals of the presentation, the target audience and the key messages.
What do we want the audience to take away from the presentation?
What’s the “going home present”?
What will they do/think/feel in a different way when they get back to their desks the next day?
b) Research and design
Next, the theory, stories and structure of the presentation are researched and developed.
This is done using a blend of creativity approaches alongside ongoing discussions with the speaker as the presentation design emerges.
c) Developing the visuals
Using powerful visuals keeps an audience engaged and makes it easy for them to remember the key messages.
We use images, data representations and videos to help bring a speaker’s messages to life.
d) Finalisation of speaking notes and visuals, with rehearsals if required
Final versions of the presentation speaking notes, PowerPoint slides, videos etc are then delivered to the speaker or the conference organiser on the date agreed.
Torchbearing offers a rehearsal service, which can either be on location at the event, or via Skype/Facetime/Zoom etc.
